Long Overdue Update.
For the past month, we have been living in Conway, MO with Tony’s family. They have been gracious enough to let us take up half of their house while we’ve been in the process of buying a new house. Thankfully, it looks like we’ll be able to close on and move in to the new house in just a couple of weeks. Our new house sits on 20 acres, but we will actually only own five. We are happy to find a place that has that much land but is still not too far outside of Springfield.
Besides moving, we have been busy with various projects. I’ve been working on the planning committee for a local MOPS group, Tony has been helping his family with kettle korn and Lucy is currently making her second attempt at potty training.
Of course, once we move in to the new house, get settled and participate in a couple of family events and weddings, it will be time to get ready for the new baby. She will be here before we know it!
I can’t believe how quickly this summer is going by. It’s not turned out like I thought it would, but it has been good. We’ve come to some good realizations and learned some good lessons. I think we’ll look back and decide that this has been a very good season.
